Beth Frieden
About
Beth Frieden writes poetry in Gaelic and English. In 2021 she received a New Scottish Writers Award for Gaelic Poetry, and her debut pamphlet was published in 2023 by Stewed Rhubarb. Her poems have been published in Gutter Magazine, New Writing Scotland, and the Gaelic Books Council's website, as well as featured in StAnza Poetry Festival. She has also worked with Inky Fingers as a poet and a poetry facilitator.
Connection to Glasgow
Beth Frieden moved to Glasgow from New Hampshire, USA in 2008. Both of her children were born in Glasgow where they all still live.
