Gordon Powrie

I am principally a performance poet, taking on modern themes and finding the humour in them. My stage presence has been described as 'full on' and I enjoy occupying the space fully, generally moving around the stage throughout any gig. In 2022, I was a finalist in the Scottish Poetry Slam. My work is often political, presented in a sharp, ballistic, and rappy style . Most of my work has adult themes. I enjoy performing at both public and private events, and with enough notice, can adapt work for a bespoke event.
