In 2023 K A Watters was a twenty-seven year old poet and policy assistant from Glasgow. Themes in K A Watters' work include mental health, feminism, familial love, Scottish pride, queer identity, love, and loneliness. Published in Gutter Voices and Winnow Magazine, and previously a member of Kevin P. Gilday’s ”Scribbler’s Union”, K A Watters is also a trained mental health first-aid facilitator and volunteer for mental health charities, See Me and Bipolar Scotland. Although now working for the government, K A Watters was previously a library assistant who specialised in children’s books.
