Laura Cooney

About

I am a writer originally from Glasgow who writes in a variety of genres for both children and adults. I have numerous publications online and in print, most recently in Northern Gravy, Punk Noir Press, Trashcat Lit and 'The Unseen' a Kobayaashi Studios Anthology. My second poetry chapbook is coming soon courtesy of Backroom Poetry. In recent news, I opened Frazzled Lit, with the Irish writer Jennifer McMahon and have been nominated for a BOTN award, for 'I Am Here.' a poem which can be found on www.frazzledlit.com. I am seeking an agent and am currently working on a Middle Grade Novel as well as three poetry collections for grown-ups, and a novella in flash.
