Val Waldron

About

Val Waldron says, "I grew up in North Ayrshire, originally studied languages at Aberdeen University, but gave up the course to travel, eventually settling to a career in social work. On retirement, it seemed that decades of experience in precise report writing was a transferable skill. The tutoring of Linda Jackson at Finn's Place lead me to a love for writing and performing poetry, finding a particularly strong focus throughout lockdown and beyond."

Connection to Glasgow

Val Waldron has lived in Glasgow since 1995.
